About Artist
A custom shop specializing in nothing, but dabbling in decoupage, shell art, glass art, and more!

Jean Covington
I am a self-taught maker since 2019, and I specialize in nothing, but dabble in much; hence the name Hodgepodge by Jean. I use fluid art (paint pouring), acrylic painting, sea shells, crushed glass, and other media on canvas, wood, and home decor substrates. I then apply resin, where required, to secure embellishments and provide a lasting glossy finish to the 3D pieces.
I sell my work in about a dozen arts and crafts shows each year in the SC, NC, and GA areas such as the Bluffton (SC) Arts and Seafood Festival, Hilton Head Art Festival, Christmas Made in the South (Savannah, GA), and Church Street Festival (Waynesville, NC) to name a few.”
I am constantly evolving in my fine arts and crafts endeavors. I feature decoupaged oyster shells on napkin rings and cutout board shapes such as pineapples, crabs, and flamingos. I keep learning new techniques and trying out new designs as I evolve and grow as a maker. Thank you for joining me on my journey!
